Step 1: Open the Admin Dashboard
Log into your 2.0 Dashboard (admin.carde.io) and select your game under Your Store's Games, click "Create Event +."
Step 2: Choose a Play Program
Select the Play Program that matches the type of event being run:
🟩 Set Championships (e.g., Reign of Jafar, Fabled, Whispers in the Well, Attack of the Vine!)
Format: Swiss + Top Cut. Flagship competitive events for serious play.🟪 Unstructured / Player List
Format: Casual — demos, deck testing, no Swiss rounds. Flexible and great for newcomers.🟦 Weekly Play / Infinity Constructed
Formats: Constructed, Draft, or Sealed. Usually Swiss with an optional Top Cut. Ideal for regular community events.🟨 Prerelease
Formats: Sealed or Pack Rush. Sealed supports Swiss with an optional Top Cut; Pack Rush is faster and casual with no Swiss rounds.
Step 3: Enter Event Details
Fill in the following fields:
Date & time
Timezone (if applicable)
Event description
Requires Invitation Toggle
Enable Decklist Submission
Entry cost
Capacity
Starting Table Number
Venue Address
Player Check-in
Player Registration
Visibility
Step 4: Configure Swiss Rounds
Choose whether to include a Top Cut after Swiss rounds:
With Top Cut — Top players advance to elimination rounds after Swiss play concludes.
Without Top Cut — Event ends after Swiss rounds; final standings determine placement.
Step 5: Publish the Event
Click Create Event to publish. The event will appear under the store's events list and become visible to players.
Step 6: Manage Players
Navigate to the Players tab and select + Add Player to access the participant list, add or edit players, and manage check-ins.
